TRUE ETCH CONCRETE ACID STAIN - WHEAT

  • Deeply penetrates, permanently coloring the surface of cured concrete
  • Creates an uneven mottled appearance common to natural stone
  • Do not use if accelerators or retarders were used in the original concrete mix
Application
  • Resulting color depends on the many variables of concrete
  • Contains hydrochloric acid and reacts with the lime in the cement
  • Very old or weathered concrete may not contain the necessary chemicals to produce an acid etch
  • Coverage if undiluted: approximately 200-400 sq. ft. per gallon
  • Coverage if diluted: 1:1 coverage will yield 400-800 sq. ft. per gallon, but final color will vary
