ANTI-CRAK FIBERS STRENGTHEN CONCRETE Anti-Crak Fibers from Bon Tool Co. have 3 to 4 times greater tensile strength than steel and 10 times greater elasticity than polypropylene. The addition of these specially formulated fibers to the concrete controls early plastic shrinkage and strengthens the concrete.
Corrosion-resistant, Anti-Crak Fibers from Bon Tool Co. improve the durability of the concrete by providing greater retained strength and increased impact and abrasion resistance. This means less cracking, all at a nominal additional expense.
Bon Tool Co.’s Anti-Crak Fibers are designed for use with cement based products such as ready-mix concrete, pre-cast concrete and specialty mortar mixes. The fibers incorporate into the mix quickly and evenly.
The Anti-Crak Fibers from Bon Tool Co. are made from alkali-resistant glass fibers. The use of this inorganic, incombustible formula poses no health risk. Pre-chopped strands of fiber are sold in a 1-pound bag, the recommended measure for 1 cubic yard of concrete mix.
The manufacture of the fibers is regulated by international standards. Complete technical data and supportive product information can be obtained be contacting Bon Tool Co.

The BonWay™ Division of Bon Tool Co., a leader in the decorative
concrete industry, is the manufacturer of the E-Pro™ Concrete Texturing System. The unique
patented design of these texture mats gives plain concrete the look of natural stone or brick
without a significant investment in equipment.
According to John Wight, vice president of sales and marketing, the company emphasized finding the right material to significantly reduce the cost of stamping concrete, while maintaining a high quality of performance.
"The advantage of the E-Pro™ system is that it doesn't require a large initial investment," says Wight. "With this system contractors can offer decorative concrete at a fraction of the cost of using traditional texture mats."
The durable expanded polypropylene mats are about an eighth of the weight of urethane mats. This
reduced weight and the heavy-duty woven handles of the mats make for efficient maneuverability on the jobsite. Multiple-use E-Pro™ mats are available in a variety of patterns and sizes. E-Pro™
Flexi-Mats are half the thickness and can be bent or cut to manipulate into tight areas.
The texture mats work in combination with coloring and sealing products from the BonWay
Decorative Concrete Division of Bon Tool Co. to create attractive and affordable driveways, patios,
sidewalks and larger commercial concrete jobs.

The elegance of traditional brick and stone can be achieved at a fraction of the cost
with Paper Stencils from Bon’s Bonway™ Decorative Concrete Division. Stenciled
concrete provides the strength and durability of concrete along with the old-world charm
of masonry.
A wide selection of stencil patterns, finishing techniques and concrete coloring products
are available to create the appearance of natural brick or stone on concrete. Unlike most other texturing products, stencils provide a pronounced mortar joint to the concrete. Generally, stencils are cut to the appropriate length and embedded into the wet concrete
with a texture roller to create a rough texture finish. A mix of concrete coloring products is recommended to enhance the natural look of the finish.
Stencils are suitable for new applications as well as for use in decorative concrete overlays in a variety of projects from patios and driveways to larger commercial applications or municipal projects. The possibilities are endless.
The single-use, plastic-coated paper stencils are available in nine masonry patterns on rolls, one circle pattern form and two header course patterns. All of the recommended textured rollers, coloring and sealing products are also available at Bon Tool Co.

Existing concrete slabs can be transformed into works of art with
Spread-Tex™ Resurfacer from Bon. This resurfacer works well with stencils to provide a
decorative concrete overlay for a variety of projects from patios and driveways to larger
commercial applications or municipal projects.
Spread-Tex™ is a high-strength concrete resurfacer that quickly restores and improves
the look of existing concrete. Simply add water and the mix is ready to be troweled on to
the slab or sprayed on with a gun and hopper. Specially-formulated Spread-Tex™ is
self-binding and can be applied from 1/16" to 1/12" thick. That's thick enough to use with
Bon Stencils to add a decorative touch to the concrete.
Spread-Tex™ is available in five colors. For overlay projects it is typically applied in a
natural-looking stone or brick color with a gun and hopper after the stencil is cut to the
appropriate length and placed on the concrete. If desired, a base coat of Spread-Tex™
can be applied prior to placing the stencil. The use of Spread-Tex™ and Stencils as an
overlay system provides the strength and durability of concrete along with the old-world
charm of masonry.
The single-use Plastic-Coated Paper Stencils are available from Bon in a variety of
patterns including Basketweave and Herringbone, Running Bond, Ashlar Cut Stone, Old English Cobble, Random Blue
Stone, Flagstone, a Cobble Circle pattern and two Header Course patterns.

As demand for concrete applications rises, Bon introduces a
form to create textured edges on steps and risers. The form adds a natural stone
looking texture to a concrete step.
The flexible, top quality urethane form should be applied to the wet concrete to create
the impression. The form is molded of a special blend of rubber that does not require a
release agent during application. Natural results are achieved through coloring in a
method typically used to achieve desired effect. To enhance the shaded areas of the
form, a spot application of acid stain should be considered after the concrete has cured.
The reusable urethane form is 6-inches high and is available in two lengths, 48" and 72".
These stepliners enhance Bon's extensive decorative concrete line of tools and
materials for texturing, coloring and sealing products.

As demand for concrete applications rises, Bon Tool Co. introduces forms to create textured edges for concrete countertops. Each form adds a unique, natural looking texture to the edge of the countertop. Stone edge and sea shell edge are the available patterns.
Natural results are achieved as an actual rock’s edge and real seashells glued to cut corral were used to make these patterns. Each re-usable form is molded of a special blend of rubber that does not require a release agent during application.
The flexible, top-quality urethane form should be applied to the wet concrete to create impressions during the fabrication of the countertop. The entire slab of concrete should be colored in a method typically used to achieve desired effect. Afterwards, a spot application of acid stain or water-based acrylic paint should be considered to enhance the shaded areas of the rock’s edge or the individual shells in the pattern.
These edge forms join Bon’s Bonway™ line of tools and materials for decorative concrete, which include other texturing, coloring and sealing products.

Bon Tool Co., a leader in the decorative concrete industry, has
expanded its product line with the addition of Seamless Texture Skins. These lightweight
urethane mats add texture to the concrete without grout lines or a distinct repeat of
pattern.
The texture skins have a feathered edge, making application simple with no need to line
up the pattern. Simply lift and place the skin in the concrete until the area is covered and
the desired effect is achieved. The weight and flexibility of the skins is ideal for texturing
stair treads or for overlay systems.
The new texture skins work in combination with coloring and sealing products from Bon
for attractive and affordable decorative concrete applications. The skins are available in
three square sizes: 12"; 36" and 48". The largest size is equipped with handles for
efficient maneuverability on the job.
The eight patterns available are: Slate, Roman Slate, Texas Sea Shells, Blue Stone, Limestone, Veronica Stone, Yucatan and Chiseled Slate.
Bon's decorative concrete line includes a wide selection texturing tools, coloring and
sealing products to make concrete anything but ordinary.

Part # 32-147 Urethane Tamper
URETHANE TAMPER WON'T DAMAGE TEXTURE MATS
Bon has a URETHANE TAMPER ideal for setting
decorative concrete texture mats. The tamper is coated with urethane to best protect
texture mats, and eliminate cuts in the mats when they are tamped in place in the
concrete.
The urethane coating on the tamper provides protection for urethane texture mats as
well as the lighter-weight polypropylene E-Pro mats from Bon. Bon's Urethane
Tamper has a 12" x 12" base and a 50" fiberglass handle.
